HHS awards $665M to test new delivery models

The Department of Health & Human Services is awarding more than $665 million in Affordable Care Act monies to design and test healthcare payment and service delivery models. 

This latest round of funding, combined with similar grants in early 2013, means that more than half of all U.S. states (34 states and 3 territories and the District of Columbia), are participating in efforts to support comprehensive state-based innovation in health system transformation, according to the agency.
