Pilot explores new cancer care payment model

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and UnitedHealthcare have announced a pilot to study a new cancer care payment model, according to MarketWatch.

The model, which focuses on head and neck cancers, focuses on quality patient care and outcomes. It’s the first effort involving bundled payments in a large, comprehensive cancer center.
