Diminishing wars and a drop in defense spending are spurring federal contractors to expand their businesses related to healthcare, reports The Washington Post.  

While budgets are tight, business purchases by the Department of Health & Human Services have doubled to $21 billion annually during the past decade. This is expected to continue, according to the article.
