Ebola price tag: $8.5K-$50K per day

The cost of treating Ebola is enormously high, and can range anywhere from $8,500 to $50,000 per day, according to U.S. News & World Report.

Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) has requested $20 million to cover the costs for the single Ebola patient treated in his state, and President Obama has asked Congress to approve $6.2 billion in emergency funding by Dec. 11 to cover Ebola costs. It remains to be seen what funding comes through.
