AMA to CMS: Eliminate Meaningful Use penalties

 

The American Medical Association has a new policy statement urging the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to drop Meaningful Use penalties, according to Medscape

The new statement, adopted at the AMA's annual interim meeting, asks CMS to "suspend all penalties to physicians and health care facilities for failure to meet meaningful use criteria," according to the article.
