Thousands of Kaiser nurses plan 2-day strike

 

Thousands of nurses at Kaiser Permanente in Northern California plan to walk off the job amid heated contract negotiations, according to Napa Valley Register.

A California Nurses Association official told the newsletter that the walkout would begin at 7am on Nov. 11 and run through 6:59am on Thursday. Kaiser facilities will remain open, although some elective procedures and routine appointments may be rescheduled, according to the article.
