AHRQ offers ‘snapshots’ into states’ progress on care quality

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality has published ‘state snapshots’ that offer insight into states’ progress on the quality of their healthcare delivery.

State Snapshots includes charts on the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for improvement—and offer data that can be segmented and analyzed by type of care, treatment setting, clinical condition, insurance status, race and income. Moreover, they offer the ability to compare each state’s quality of healthcare delivery with national rates or data from top performing states.

The snapshots utilize data from the 2013 National Healthcare Quality Report and National Healthcare Disparities Report, according to the agency.
