AHA launches SmartMarket, an online collaborative tool

The American Hospital Association (AHA) has launched an online social collaboration platform to help healthcare professionals make more informed buying decisions, grow their healthcare network and discuss solutions with peers.

The tool, AHA SmartMarket, is available for free to both AHA members and other stakeholders in the industry. It provides “unbiased feedback from healthcare professionals,” said AHA President and CEO Rich Umbdenstock in a video announcement.

About 1,000 vendors already are featured on the site, he said. “Site usage is growing every day.”
