  • Days in Accounts Receivable – Average amount of time it takes a provider to receive payment.
  • Eligibility Accuracy – Measures how well the payer’s eligibility of benefits transaction predicts the outcome of a claim.
  • Enrollment Efficiency – How easy it is for the provider to enroll in an electronic transaction with the payer.

“We are pleased that, for the second year in a row, Humana has earned the number one spot among 148 payers for its overall performance on our 2014 PayerView rankings,” said Todd Rothenhaus, Chief Medical Officer, athenahealth. “PayerView provides unprecedented, actionable insight into the provider-payer relationship, helping to drive more efficient, effective health care across the United States.”
