More than 1,100 products certified to 2014 Edition

More than 1,100 products are now on the federal government's list of those that meet some or all of the requirements for the 2014 Edition of Meaningful Use.

Almost 100 EHR systems and modules made the list in the past month for a total of 1,160. 

MU critics cited the challenges vendors were having meeting the 2014 Edition requirements as one reason for a shift in the program's timeline. A recent proposed rule, however, would allow providers to stay with 2011 Edition technology and remain at Stage 1 in 2014 if vendor delays prevents them from successfully attesting to Stage 2.
