Press Ganey’s Quality PerformerSM Hospital eMeasures Solution Certified to Support Meaningful Use Stage 2 Clinical Quality eMeasures Reporting for Hospitals

February 5, 2014, South Bend, IndianaPress Ganey, the leading patient experience improvement firm, today announced that its Quality PerformerSM Hospital eMeasures 1.3 solution has been certified for use by eligible hospitals to meet Meaningful Use Stage 2 Clinical Quality eMeasures reporting requirements as of December 5, 2013. Certified as an EHR Module under the Drummond Group’s Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) program, this solution is compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

The Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act established incentive payments under Medicare and Medicaid programs for eligible providers and hospitals that have demonstrated the Meaningful Use of EHR technology – a key component of the federal government’s push to improve clinical care delivery through the adoption and effective use of EHRs.

Hospitals using Press Ganey’s Quality Performer Hospital eMeasures solution pay an annual subscription fee for data collection, data processing and data transmission software and services. This fee includes initial set up, training, and ongoing support and education related to the product and to the reporting requirements.
