AMDIS: ONC offer tips on being a good CMIO
Members of the federal government shared thoughts on the recently announced health IT safety plan and the qualities of a transformative CMIO during their talk at the AMDIS 22nd Annual Physician-Computer Connection Symposium in Ojai, Calif., on June 26.
David S. Muntz, CHCIO, principal deputy national coordinator, and Jacob Reider, MD, chief medical officer, discussed Changing Roles in Health IT Leadership. They referred to the five stages of tribal leadership to show what qualities and attitude a successful CMIO has.
