TripleTree announces 2013 iAwards Winners

TripleTree, a provider of merchant banking services, recognized three winners of its Fifth Annual iAwards for Connected Health, which award innovators “demonstrating insight, innovation and initiative in healthcare through the convergence of wireless, mobile, cloud and social technologies,” according to its May 30 announcement.

The three winners—formally recognized at the Eighth Annual Wireless-Life Sciences Alliance Convergence Summit in San Diego—were chosen from 12 finalists. They include:

TripleTree also honored Asthmapolis with the 2013 Horizon Award for its advancements in connected health for chronic disease management.

“Our panel of evaluators was impressed with this year’s strong pool of applicants,” Chris Hoffmann, senior director at TripleTree, said in a statement. “All 12 of the companies recognized as finalists are relevant in their respective markets, making it especially challenging to distinguish three winners from the group.”
