HIMSS: Awarepoint updates RTLS line

Awarepoint launched a new version of its aware360°Suite of real-time location systems (RTLS) tools at the 2012 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference.

Users can aggregate that information with their scheduling systems and EHRs to improve operating efficiency. The San Diego-based company also unveiled its bed-level accurate sensor, S3B, which allows users to detect all patient-staff interactions.
