HIMSS attendance surpasses 37K

2012 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference.
As of the morning of Feb. 24, attendance at the 2012 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference & exhibition reached 37,032 attendees, surpassing the HIMSS11 attendance figure of 31,500 attendees.

The record-breaking attendance occurred in Las Vegas at the Venetian Sands Expo Center from Feb. 20-24.

HIMSS12 attendees filled the hallways on their way to the more than 300 education sessions and to the exhibit hall with 1,123 exhibiting companies.
