Ohio statewide HIE to connect with 10 hospitals

Premier Health Partners and Kettering Health Network are striving to connect with the Ohio Health Information Partnership’s statewide health information exchange (HIE), CliniSync.

The Dayton-based health systems join 55 other hospitals across the state that are working to implement HIE and two that have gone in live, according to an Oct. 4 statement. Kettering is affiliated with Kettering College, also in Dayton, and operates more than 60 inpatient and outpatient facilities. Premier said it will bring more than 2,300 physicians into the network.
