Agfa, Premier ink DR deal

Agfa HealthCare has been awarded a three-year contract by Premier Healthcare Alliance. The contract covers pricing and terms on Agfa’s line of digital radiography (DR) systems for the alliance's 2,600 member hospitals and 84,000 other healthcare sites in the U.S. 

The contract makes available the following systems:
  • DX-D 100, a portable system designed for mobile environments;
  • DX-D 300, a motorized system that can perform various x-ray studies;
  • DX-D 500, a ceiling-mounted direct radiography system;
  • DX-D 600, a ceiling-suspended system equipped with dual-cesium iodide DR detectors in the wall stand and table, and optional integrated computed radiography (CR); and
  • DX-D 10 and DX-D 20 portable detectors, tethered digital detectors designed for conventional and mobile DR systems.

The contract is effective Oct.1 through Aug.31, 2015. Mortsel, Belgium-based Agfa also has enterprise image management, CR and medical film and imagers contracts with Premier.
