Fluke launches new patient monitor testing tool

Fluke Biomedical has released the newest addition to its ProSim family of patient monitor quality assurance testing tools, the Spot Light SpO2 functional tester.

Spot Light sets up SpO2 saturation, heart rate, transmission and eight different manufacturers' custom r-curves to a pulse oximeter or patient monitor, according to the Everett, Wash.-based company. A LCD display and three buttons allow for a change in parameters and view signal output sent to the pulse oximeter. An interchangeable battery allows for all-day operation.
