Invivo to distribute Siemens' PET/CT in mobile configuration

Invivo Molecular Imaging has become the first commercial provider of mobile PET/CT imaging services to purchase Siemens Healthcare's Biograph 16 TruePoint PET/CT scanner in a mobile configuration.

The Biograph TruePoint is a molecular imaging platform from Siemens, which provides physicians with functional information possible for diagnoses, allowing for treatment planning and monitoring, the Gray, Tenn.-based Invivo said. The system integrates the functional sensitivity of PET with the anatomical detail of diagnostic multislice CT for the detection of tumors. Biograph TruePoint is designed for hybrid modality integration.
