NIH taps Carestream for RIS deployment

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) awarded a sole source contract for RIS to Carestream Health.

Carestream’s RIS makes a patient’s radiology report accessible to authorized clinicians from any location, according to Rochester, N.Y.-based Carestream. The Vue RIS standalone RIS platform has satisfied Stage 1 meaningful use requirements and is certified as an EMR module by the Certification Commission for Health IT for hospitals and outpatient imaging centers.
