Eight Pa. hospitals unite as Commonwealth Health
A network of eight northeastern Pennsylvania hospitals has united under the name Commonwealth Health. Cornelio Catenea, CEO, Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, was appointed the CEO of the network, although each individual hospital’s leadership will remain in place.

- Wilkes-Barre General Hospital in Wilkes-Barre;
- Berwick Hospital in Berwick;
- First Hospital in Kingston;
- Mid-Valley Hospital in Scranton;
- Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton;
- Regional Hospital of Scranton;
- Special Care Hospital in Nanticoke; and
- Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock.
