HIMSS: Lawson touts IHE demonstration

Lawson Software demonstrated its ability to enable interoperability among EHRs during the Interoperability Showcase at the HIMSS 2011 Conference & Exhibition, Feb. 21 to Feb. 24 in Orlando, Fla.

To participate in the Interoperability Showcase, the Lawson Cloverleaf IHE Infrastructure Adaptor recently passed 12 critical profile tests in the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) event in Chicago. IHE is an initiative by healthcare professionals and industry to improve the way health IT systems share information.

In the run-up to the Interoperability Showcase, Lawson demonstrated that the Lawson Cloverleaf IHE Infrastructure Adaptor provided for the standards-based transfer of clinical documents across multiple IT systems, especially those with external EHRs and health information exchanges.
