Thomson Reuters to build Alabama HIE

Alabama Medicaid Agency and the Alabama Health Information Exchange Advisory Commission have selected Thomson Reuters to develop the infrastructure for a statewide health information exchange (HIE).

The HIE implemented by Thomson Reuters will utilize CareEvolution’s HIEBus, according to the Ann Arbor, Mich.-based health IT company.
