Novation inks MRI deals with six vendors

Healthcare supply contracting company Novation has awarded multisource agreements for MRI equipment to six suppliers.

The agreements have been awarded to Esaote, Hitachi Medical, GE Healthcare, Philips Healthcare, Siemens Healthcare and Toshiba America Medical Systems, Irving, Texas-based Novation said. The agreements are effective Jan. 1, 2012, through Dec. 31, 2014, with two one-year extension options.

Products on the agreements include high-field MRI scanners, low-field MRI scanners, MRI scanner upgrades, MRI scanner options and accessories, refurbished MRI equipment and MRI equipment service.
