Tennessee provider heads to the cloud with athenahealth software

HealthStar Physicians, a multi-specialty physician group serving Eastern Tennessee, has selected three of health IT developer athenahealth’s cloud-based services.

The Morristown, Tenn.-based HealthStar will work with athenahealth to introduce new operational procedures and to support communications with patients.

HealthStar will implement athenahealth’s cloud-based services: athenaCollector, for medical billing and practice management; athenaClinicals, for EHR management; and athenaCommunicator for patient communications management, the Watertown, Mass.-based athenahealth added.
