3M Health unveils practice management software

3M Health Information Systems introduced the 3M 360 Encompass System, a software application that connects and automates coding, clinical documentation improvement (CDI) and performance monitoring.

With auto-suggested codes and CDI prompts delivered to the point of care and across CDI and coding processes, the 3M 360 Encompass System seeks to help hospitals and health systems achieve documentation, reimbursement and outcomes data, the Salt Lake City-based 3M Health stated.

By integrating 3M CDI technology with the 3M Coding and Reimbursement System, the 3M 360 Encompass System allows for the capture of patient severity in physician documentation, and the system incorporates ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding content wherein the application codes in ICD-10 and enables coding in ICD-9 while viewing the ICD-10 equivalent, according to the company.
