iPractice Group completes deal for Doctors Access

iPractice Group has acquired Doctors Access, a Nashville, Tenn.-based health IT developer of practice management software and billing services for small to mid-sized independent practices. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

The acquisition provides an immediate expansion to the Nashville, Tenn.-based health IT provider iPractice Group’s product offering, iPractice Group stated.

Doctors Access will be operated as a wholly-owned subsidiary, and plans are in place to double the support staff to better serve its current client base, the company added. Immediate plans for Doctors Access include further development of its revenue cycle management capabilities in preparation for ICD-10.
