Electrotherapy device cleared for pain-relief market
Zynex, a maker of medical devices used in pain therapy and stroke rehab, has received 510(k) clearance to sell its NexWave neuromuscular-stimulation product.
In announcing the government’s go-ahead, the company said the new product provides a variety of pain and muscle rehabilitation therapies.
Thomas Sandgaard, the company’s CEO, said the device falls under existing medical billing codes.
