ImageIQ teams with Anderson Orthopaedic Research Institute
ImageIQ, an imaging contract research organization incubated within Cleveland Clinic, has partnered with the Anderson Orthopaedic Research Institute (AORI) in Alexandria, Va. to assess orthopedic implants.
For more than a decade, ImageIQ had functioned as the biomedical imaging and analysis core within Cleveland Clinic, where it provided imaging analytics, software engineering and image visualization services for research, medical device and pharmaceutical organizations.
In the new partnership, ImageIQ will provide 3D imaging analytics to assess the structural integrity and performance of various biomaterials in orthopedic implant wear studies. It also will develop and employ Micro-CT and volumetric image processing to visualize implants and aid in joint replacement procedures at AORI.
