Endosense appoints new president, CEO

Swiss medical technology company Endosense has named Jan Keltjens, former CEO of AngioDynamics and CryoCath Technologies (now Medtronic and CryoCath), as the successor to outgoing president and CEO Eric Le Royer.

Keltjens will direct the company’s focus on global commercialization of its proprietary TactiCath, a contact-force sensing ablation catheter, according to the company, which is currently enrolling for clinical trials. Endosense develops catheter ablation technologies for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.
