FDA green-lights Fluke's tester, simulator

Fluke Biomedical has received the FDA’s OK to sell a new multifunction tester and a new quick-check simulator. The agency granted the Everett, Wash.-based company 510(k) clearance on its ProSim 8 and ProSim 4 models.

Fluke said the ProSim 8 is a tester designed to perform most preventive maintenance (PM) testing in five minutes or less. The ProSim 4 is a touchscreen simulator for troubleshooting and performance checks on patient monitors.
