Axolotl HIE is now OptumInsight

Health IT company Axolotl health information exchange (HIE) has become part of the OptumInsight portfolio of healthcare management systems and services as part of Optum, the current corporate owner of Axolotl.

Axolotl is now the brand name of all Elysium systems.

Axolotl product information, sales and support continues to be available to all customers and prospects, according to the companies.

“Integrated with OptumInsight’s range of operational and management solutions, Axolotl HIE networks provide the pathway to effective healthcare tools,” the companies said in a statement.
