2012 IHE Connectathon registration opens

Registration is now open for the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise North American (IHE N.A.) Connectathon 2012, sponsored by IHE USA, scheduled for Jan. 9-14, 2012 in Chicago at the Hyatt Regency.

The Connectathon provides a testing process to promote and support the adoption of standards-based interoperable health information tools, according to a Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) statement.

The primary goal of IHE Connectathons is to refine and test health information systems to ensure the interoperable exchange of patient records and medical information through an intense week-long testing schedule, the Chicago-based organization added.

Registration is open through Sept. 30.
