RTI launches measurement instrument for x-ray devices

RTI Electronics has launched Cobia Smart, a measurement instrument used for the quality assurance of x-ray devices.

The instrument is used for checking that the output from an x-ray tube is correct. Users can get an accurate reading by placing the instrument beneath the x-ray tube and making an x-ray exposure. The measured values can be read directly from Cobia Smart’s display, according to the Mölndal, Sweden-based provider of x-ray quality assurance and service instrumentation.
