ONC: Miss. REC reaches membership goal
eQHealth Solutions, the regional extension center (REC) for Mississippi, has hit 100 percent of its sign-up goal of 1,000 priority primary care providers, according to a blog posting on the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) website.
Three months into the process, the REC had signed up 25 percent of its goal and at the six-month mark, more than 600 providers were enrolled, including 220 providers associated with the state’s network of community health centers (CHCs), ONC added.
Program Director Randy Bordelon stated that the goal was met due to the cooperative environment with the state’s medical associations and various regional medical societies across the state.
