SIIM: Siemens showcases mobile syngo technology

Siemens Healthcare demonstrated a range of clinical and mobile imaging IT systems as part of its syngo suite at the annual meeting of the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM), June 2 through 5, in Washington, D.C.

Siemens’ line of syngo products includes syngo.via advanced visualization software, syngo.plaza PACS and syngo Workflow RIS. Recent add-ons included syngo.via WebViewer and syngo.via WebReport, which enable non-diagnostic thin-client viewing of images and reports from most any remote location. The syngo systems also include 2D, 3D and 4D image reconstruction, RIS business intelligence, cloud-based disaster recovery and critical results management tools, according to Erlangen, Germany-based Siemens.
