Phyaura grabs EHR Live

Phyaura has acquired EHR Live, a West Palm Beach, Fla.-based developer of open source EHR tools. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The EHR Live acquisition enables Phyaura to increase its user base and provides current EHR Live clients access to Phyaura's complete meaningful use software, PHYAURA EHR v.4.0, Phyaura stated.

PHYAURA EHR includes a fully integrated practice management system and is available to all EHR Live clients without interruption of services, according to the Spring Hill, Fla., company.

Chris Lucena, MBA, president of EHR Live, will join Phyaura’s team as chief technology officer, Phyaura added.
