The American Medical Association (AMA)'s Amagine subsidiary has released its health IT platform, AMAGINE, which provides a range of health IT tools for physicians.

The AMAGINE physician platform includes three EMR products, e-prescribing software, claims management tools and clinical decision support and reference tools, the Chicago-based company stated.

In collaboration with the Michigan State Medical Society (MSMS), the AMAGINE platform has been pilot tested by Michigan physicians since 2009.
