Interbit debuts file consolidation tools

Health IT software provider Interbit Data has unveiled its Document Manager software for consolidating electronic patient files from multiple sources into one document that can be sent to patients or third parties.

Document Manager aggregates files and sends the consolidated document to any designated recipient, according to Interbit, of Natick, Mass. Reports and documents created with Document Manager may be distributed via email, fax or NetDelivery, Interbit Data's report distribution software.

Users can manage document assembly, determining the format and layout of the consolidated information and creating a cover page and table of contents, if necessary. Documents may also be written as secure, protected encrypted PDF files suitable for USB and/or CD-ROM storage, the company added.
