Diversinet debuts communications app

Software developer company Diversinet has unveiled its Clinical Communicator application for health IT professionals to communicate with patients remotely via mobile devices and tablets.

Clinical Communicator leverages Diversinet’s MobiSecure Publisher and MobiSecure SMS for clinicians to communicate with patients while patients can continue to use existing MobiSecure mobile clients, such as mClient and mText, Toronto-based Diversinet stated.

The application, which is suitable for drug/clinical trials and case/disease management, will be available for trials in June, according to the company.
