Black Book poll crowns top EHRs in 4 specialties

Market research firm Black Book Rankings conducted a four month user poll to determine the highest ranked EHR/EMR organizations for radiology, pathology, oncology and cardiology in 2011.

As part of a research focus on specialty physician EMR users, Black Book announced the vendors with the highest scores in customer experience in the areas of document management, practice administration and revenue cycle management, e-prescribing and accessibility.

Users of EMRs and those in a current implementation process in four specialty areas were evaluated on their satisfaction levels with their vendor of choice. The highest-ranked EMR vendors by respective client physicians and practice administrators include:
  • Radiology - MedInformatix
  • Pathology - MED3000's PSA
  • Oncology - Elekta's MOSAIQ
  • Cardiology - Henry Schein MicroMD

Black Book Rankings, a New York City-based division of Brown-Wilson Group, surveyed more than 30,000 healthcare records professionals, physician practice administrators and hospital leaders in the IT arena.
