OnCallData debuts mobile e-prescribing, med rec apps

OnCallData has launched medication reconciliation and e-prescribing mobile applications for the iPad, iPhone, BlackBerry and Android devices.The apps complement OnCallData's new Community Health Portal, which provides all stakeholders in the prescribing process with a central hub for managing prescriptions.

OnCallData products provide tools for coordinating medication reconciliation and e-prescribing, both in hospitals as well as in outpatient settings, according to the Gaithersburg, Md.-based software developer.

The OnCallData Community Health Portal provides hospital systems and regional health information organizations (RHIOs) with a patient-centric view of these processes, the company stated.
