Beloit enlists TeleHealth Services for care initiative

Beloit Health System has extended its partnership with TeleHealth Services to provide interactive patient education and entertainment in its “Experience the Difference” patient care initiative, the Beloit, Wis.-based health system's effort to enhance its patient-centered approach.

Two primary focuses of this initiative are increasing patient satisfaction and expanding the capabilities of caregivers through the use of integrated healthcare technology, according to Beloit Health System.

TeleHealth Services’ TIGR V7 software provides patients and families with on-demand bedside education about diseases and treatment options from information entered into the EMR. The software interfaces with Beloit Health System's ADT (admission/discharge/transfer) and EMR systems, and  automates several workflows. It enables clinicians to review test results, education reports and patient satisfaction reports, according to Raleigh, N.C.-based TeleHealth Services.
