ONC Standards & Interoperability Framework: Youre (still) invited
The Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) has launched a number of initiatives under its Standards and Interoperability (S&I) Framework Program to support the development of healthcare specifications in order to facilitate wider use of standards and an increased level of health IT interoperability across the U.S.
Although the original deadline for participation in the program has passed, the agency still wants to stakeholders interested in making meaningful contributions to participate in the S&I Framework Program.

Committed deliverables include Workgroup commitment(s): If an organization has more than one committed member, it must specify which members are participating in each of the workgroups. There is no limit to the number of workgroups in which a member may participate, or the number of members that may participate in workgroups from an organization.

- Regularly attend weekly Initiative Group meetings, and
- Meaningfully participate in developing needed deliverables, such as the development of source code, documentation development, and/or supporting implementation of the S&I Framework pilot efforts.
