Ohio med center chooses Wolters Kluwer cardio documentation software

Southern Ohio Medical Center, a 222-bed medical center located in Portsmouth, Ohio, will deploy Wolters Kluwer Health’s ProVation MD software for cardiology procedure documentation and coding in the hospital’s cardiac catheterization lab.

ProVation MD software for procedure documentation and coding compliance replaces dictation/transcription and assists the coding and billing process, Wolters Kluwer, of Minneapolis, stated.

ProVation MD also interfaces with cardiovascular nursing, imaging and measurement systems for the electronic documentation process, the company added.
