CAP taps Wagner

The College of American Pathologists (CAP) has hired Charles Wagner as vice president of its STS (SNOMED Terminology Solutions) division. Wagner will lead CAP STS’ professional services expansion in the health IT marketplace.

In his new position, Wagner will help the Northfield, Ill.-based CAP STS build new services targeted to CAP members and lead business development in the health IT community. These initiatives will also help support the CAP’s transformation efforts under way to foster new roles for pathologists as critical members of the patient care team.

Prior to joining CAP STS, Wagner was managing director of U.S. Healthcare Operations and Global Healthcare Application Delivery at Dell Services, CAP stated.
