Networking security company Lancope has unveiled the next generation of its StealthWatch System, which leverages flow data to deliver end-to-end network visibility and greater forensic intelligence for industries, including healthcare.

StealthWatch 6.0 capabilities include:

  • Application performance monitoring via behavioral analysis and inspection of flow data;
  • Relational flow mapping to provide real-time, graphical views of network traffic;
  • Grouping of related hosts to analyze the traffic between them, detect anomalies and assess performance; and
  • Reporting capabilities enabling users to retrieve detailed information for management.

Beta testers included Concord Hospital, in Concord, N.H., which used StealthWatch 6.0 to identify network and application security issues, according to Lancope, based in Atlanta.
