Aprima tapped as EHR vendor for AmericanEHR Partners

Aprima Medical Software has been selected to be an EHR vendor in AmericanEHR Partners, an online community developed to improve EHR system selection through ratings and reviews from practicing physicians.

AmericanEHR Partners was founded by the American College of Physicians (ACP) and clinical web-based tools developer Cientis Technologies.

AmericanEHR Partners brings together a growing number of specialty medical societies to provide resources on health IT, according to Carrollton, Texas-based Aprima. Members of these societies will be invited to evaluate the EHR software they use in their practice, the company added.
