Quality Systems posts increases in Q3

Quality Systems, parent company of NextGen Healthcare, has announced the results for its fiscal 2011 third quarter, which ended Dec. 31, 2010.

The company reported record net revenues of $91.9 million for the quarter, an increase of 23 percent from the $75 million reported in the same period a year ago. Quality Systems reported net income of $17.5 million, up 33 percent versus net income of $13.2 million for the comparable period last year.

Quality Systems and its NextGen subsidiary develop and market computer-based practice management, EHRs and revenue cycle management applications, as well as connectivity products and services for medical and dental group practices and small hospitals.
