New York hospital to manage ops with Perceptive software

United Memorial Medical Center (UMMC), a 131-bed acute care hospital located in Genesee County, N.Y., will replace its current document management software with Perceptive Software's enterprise content management (ECM) tools for healthcare.

UMMC will implement the Perceptive products in medical records, patient registration and in the business office.

Integrating ImageNow, scanning, archiving and integration options will enable clinical and administrative staff across UMMC to electronically manage patient information from patient records in Meditech, including the ability for physicians to electronically sign patient medical records, according to Perceptive, of Shawnee, Kan.
